ShurGreen Turf and Ornamental Care is a division of the Shurburtt Group that provides residential and commercial turf and ornamental fertilization and weed control programs. ShurGreen’s Turf and Ornamental program provides nutritionally balanced lawn programs using only the highest quality fertilizers and pest controls available on the market today.

Our Annual Turf Program Includes:

Pre-emergent application in early spring to control crabgrass, weeds, etc.
Early Spring feeding with second pre-emergent application
Late Spring fertilization to promote excellent green color
Mid Summer feeding for drought and disease resistance
Late Summer feeding to promote green color
Pre-emergent weed control to help prevent winter weeds

Our Ornamental Program Includes:

Early Spring:	Tree and shrub fertilization with a slow release fertilizer Horticulture oil spray Application of foliar iron
Spring:	Application of contract and systemic insecticide for insect control Application of Micro nutrient mix to supply trace elements
Early Summer:	Application of foliar iron Insecticides Preventative fungicide
Fall:	Fall fertilization with a slow release granular fertilizer to promote healthy root development and retain beautiful color

Free Soil Test (with a one year signed contract) A soil test tells us your soil pH which allows us to tailor and provide a fertilization program that will regulate your pH and bring it to the desired range. For turf and ornamentals, the optimum pH range is from 6.5 to 7.5.
